Anytime you receive a call from a number that is not in your Contacts, you can add that number to a new or already existing Contact from the Call History list.

After the jump you will find the tutorials for both Touchscreen and non-Touchscreen WM phones.

On Phone-enabled Touch Screen Devices:

  • Press the green Call/Send key.

  • In the resulting menu, select Call History (or Call Log).

  • Find the number you want to add to your Contacts in the list and tap and hold on it.

  • From the resulting menu, select “Save to Contacts.”

  • A New Contact menu will open with the number appearing in the “Work tel.” field. (Windows Mobile 6: The Contacts list screen will open, and you can choose an already existing contact or a new one. After you make your selection, the only fields that appear are the first and last name and the number and number type.) Fill out any desired fields and tap OK to save the Contact.

On Non-touch Screen Smartphones:

  • Select Start > Call History.

  • Highlight the desired number from the list and then select Menu > Save to Contacts.

  • From the Contacts list, select an existing contact or a new one.

  • Scroll to the desired field where you want to add the number and select Insert. (Windows Mobile 6: The “Save to Contact” screen will open, where you can enter the first and last name and the number and number type.)

  • Fill out any desired fields for the Contact and select Done (Windows Mobile 6: Save) to finish.
