Yamaha Internet Direct Connection (IDC) Piano
Yamaha releases a series of Internet Connected Piano. These are not your grandma Pianos.
Internet Direct Connection (IDC) feature allow piano users to discover a new world of online music on Yamaha’s IDC website. From the LCD display and the built-in LAN port, players with a high speed Internet connection can add styles to their Clavinova’s library, download song files for the Piano to play itself immediately, or take piano lessons from the privacy of their piano bench.
At launch, IDC users will be able to browse and download thousands of songs, as well as receive valuable information such as product updates, news and user tips, right from their instrument’s display screen. This easy to use feature works with any high-speed Internet connection on a wireless or cable-connected network via the instrument’s built-in USB connector.
