AT&T Stores Will Feature Microsoft Surface

Selected AT&T stores in 4 cities will be featuring Microsoft Surface table for various device demos and feature comparison.

Customer would interact with the surface with the touch of their hands/fingers. The Surface can detect the device placed on it to present various marketing messages, etc..

The coolest feature would be the data transfer between 2 devices placed on the Surface.

This is certainly a great technology showcase, however, from a practically point of view: How many stores that allow customer to take out the handsets from the counter to play with and the surface seems to serve only 1 customer at the time. The line will be long….. [Via Engadget]
