CoverFlow-Style Image Search: CreativSpace

While Google still dominates the Search marketshare with an impressive 70% marketshare, other search engines have tried hard to get a piece of action. We showed you SearchMe, a seach engine that gives the results back with coverflow-style image. Oskope (my favorite,) is an original search engine with a fun user interface, etc..

Another simpler online search service with similar with results powered by google image search is CreativSpace:  http://www.creativspace.at/,

unlike SearchMe, which allows the category selection, Creativspace only returns images. Nonetheless it is much fun than just use Google search images.

Once the search results are shown, use the slidebar to browse the images.

[Thanks Franz E.]

hi, thx for the coverage.

the great things of actually using google as results provider is that you can use the whole power of the google advanced search, like showing only indexed pictures from your side

Those are all good, but none of them hold a candle to PicLens when it comes to image search. Free plugin for IE and Firefox. http://www.piclens.com/site/safari/ (I don’t work for the company, I’m just a fanboy.)

Better link here: http://www.piclens.com/site/ie/

(BTW, obviously, Safari is also supported.)
