Last week, Intel’s CEO Paul Otellini was touting the upcoming launch of the new 3-Watt Atom chip for mobile devices “as important to Intel as the launch of the Pentium CPU” . The chip can deliver between 800MHz to 1.8GHz of processing power and will be general available in Asus, Lenovo, LG, BenQ, and Panasonic’s line of low cost Mobile Internet Devices.
