Velocity Mobile: New Windows Mobile 6.1 Smartphones
Velocity Mobile, a new company based in Washington, Pacific Northwest, in collaboration with Inventec, a Notebook manufacturer based in Taiwan, announced 2 Windows Mobile devices the 103 features 640×480 VGA display (left) and the 111 features 320×240 QVGA display+QWERTY keyboard (center, right). Inventec was known as the manufacturer of several Palm devices in the past. in 2006 Inventec submitted to FCC a prototype of a Windows Mobile Smartphone code named Mercury but it never got materialized.
Both devices will be sold as unlocked starting 3Q, 2008. The common specifications include:

UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 850, 1900 (1700), 2100
