Skyfire Beta .6 Released

Skyfire, the mobile browser well known for its Flash support has been upgraded to 0.6. 

Below is the list of bug fixed  and new features:

Multi-line text entry (2,000 character limit)
Auto-complete text entry
Paste into URL or search
Ability to delete bookmarks
Multiple zoom modes for touch screen phones
Double tap to Zoom In and Zoom Out
Support for custom virtual [...]

The BGR got the scoop of the new alleged  BlackBerry clamshell form factor model codenamed Kickstart.

The Blackberry devices so far have been carrying the QWERTY and Candybar designed. This will be the first edition of BB with the clamshell form factor, which might reduce the handheld size overall in width and length despite the possible increase in thickness.     

The details revealed includes an estimated launch date within the remaining of 2008.

Based on the pictures, the device features a SureType keyboard, trackball navigation, dual LCD display, etc..  You can see more pictures HERE!

AT&T Mobile TV on LG Vu Demo

When AT&T officially launches its mobile TV service on May 4th, two new handheld devices the LG Vu and the Samsung Access will be the only devices that offer support for the MediaFLO based technology. The devices cost $300 and $200 respectively after rebate and 2-yr contract.

The mobile TV service will cost $13 for basic access (only 4 channels), $15 for unlimited access to all channels and $30 for unlimited access to Mobile TV and unlimited mobile web access.

The service will be Available in 58 markets, including most big cities. Programming from major TV networks, including CBS, Comedy Central, NBC and Fox with the lineup of 150 programs includes popular shows such as CBS’s “CSI” and Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.”. AT&T will have exclusive mobile rights to CNN content. Also, it will have a movie channel called PIX, from Sony.
