11 More Countries Will Have Official iPhone

As of today, only US, U.K., Germany, France, Canada, and Spain can buy the iPhone officially. This will change when Vodafone starts distributing the iPhone in 10 countries including Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa, and later this year in Turkey. Telecom Italia will distribute the device in Italy.
The new coverage will have additional 1.2 billions potential subscribers to Apple.

Starting today, The software maker is releasing an update Tuesday to its Zune Marketplace that adds a video store with about 800 TV show episodes from NBC Universal, SciFi, MTV, Turner Broadcasting, etc.
The connection between Zune Marketplace and Xbox Live Marketplace, which carries larger video collection has not yet happened in this latest update.
“We feel it is more important and–customers tell us–to focus on short programming first,” said Julio Estrada, general manager of Microsoft’s Zune Social unit.
The spring update adds another social feature that allows users to share their “Zune Card” with friends. With that card, one Zune user can get access to another friend’s music playlist, including a list of favorite tracks selected by the user as well as an automatically generated list of songs that the friend has been listening to recently. Beside the hardware specs is the new notable TouchFLO 3D, which seems to be more integrated to the OS than the previous version. Opera browser is chosen while waiting the availability of a newer mobile IE from Microsoft. A stand-alone YouTube app was developed in cooperation between HTC and Google promised to deliver awesome video experience.
Regrettably, Android based phone and other HTC phones including the much anticipated HTC Raphael with sliding keyboard were not featured at the event.

An updated Beta version of DivX Mobile Player .90 is now available for Windows Mobile Professional and Windows Mobile Standard. There is no update for Symbian at this time, but check back for an update soon. There is no version available for iPhone, Blackberry or Palm Garnet OS phones.
