Version 2.2 Highlights
- This version is now really “silent” in command mode. When program runs in command mode, you will not see the program window, which is much nicer for “batch processing” .
- There was a “bug” in earlier versions, when the program was running in command mode on a CAB where there is only a “_setup.xml” information file. On these CAB extraction in command mode was not done. Version 2.2 fixes this issue.

Finding The Right Form Factor: The i-mate Ultimate 8502 Might Be the Answer
We just saw the i-mate Ultimate 9502 and 8502 just made to the list of FCC certification. Both devices are running WM6.1 on the Qualcomm 400 MHz processor; QWERTY keyboard; Quad band GSM and tri-band WCDMA. Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP Stereo profile, FM radio, 2MP camera, etc.

We just saw the i-mate Ultimate 9502 and 8502 just made to the list of FCC certification. Both devices are running WM6.1 on the Qualcomm 400 MHz processor; QWERTY keyboard; Quad band GSM and tri-band WCDMA. Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP Stereo profile, FM radio, 2MP camera, etc.
The Ultimate 9502 features a 2.8? VGA screen sliding up to reveal a hidden QWERTY keyboard. It has the same form factor as the Danger Sidekick. The device is running WM6, GPS integrated and a VGA output. Despite its gorgeous VGA screen and its huge 1620 mAH battery, the thickness and the bulkiness of this device really make this device not appealing to today taste. Not to mention the high price (over $850) for a device that has same look as a Sidekick, the teenager favorite.
However its QVGA partner, the Ultimate 8502 caught my eyes for its unusual form factor. At the fist glance this small device has a candybar style, but when you look closely, it is a touch screen device with a real QWERTY keyboard. You can think of it as a smaller, narrower Treo with the normal 320 x 240 touchscreen.
With the Ultimate 8502, there is no need to compromise between touchscreen or non touchscreen, QWERTY or T9. Slider or soft keyboard, etc..everything is there is a small pocketable form factor. The only compromise, you might think is the keys are small for such diminutive keyboard. Luckily, each key is shaped with a pyramid form that facilitates greatly the feel. After few minutes of use, I can easily type without much problem.

Nintendo Wii players now have options to purchase more games online. Last week Nintendo launced WiiWare, its new online destination of downloadable games.
The games are developed by independent developers for the Wii platform.

Despite being discontinued, The Dell 624 MHz Axim X51 is still a power house for today standard.
Granted this does not have the VGA display as its sibling X51v, but look on the bright side, the QVGA display consumes much less power to let you go through the day. Unfortunately, I have not found a new WM6.1 ROM for it (however, you can follow the development HERE).
The latest WM6.1 ROM for X51v version has turned out to be the greatest ROM I have tested so far. It truly makes WM device to what it should have been from the beginning. There is no need to worry about the close app function, BT A2DP, WiFi work flawlessly, no hacks needed.
You can use the X51 for more than just a PDA (contacts, calendar, tasks). You certainly can add GPS (with additional Bluetooth GPS receiver & maps), Browsing the Web, MP4, YouTube player, etc..
