Apple Store Closure, Fans Went Nut

Last night, Apple store located on Fifth Avenue in New York was closed for only the third time in its history Initial iPhone launch and OSX launch). The flagship store which, like its home city normally never sleeps, was closed between 3pm on Thursday afternoon and 9am Friday Morning.

The store re-opened this morning without noticeable changes. Many people are suggesting that the store may have been used as a filming location for the 3G iPhone commercial shoots.
