Diary Video Review of HTC Touch Diamond Available

The site CoolSmartPhone from U.K. has managed to received a HTC Touch Diamond to play for the week.

To tease us, they will be doing a video diary for the next 7 days to show off all the capabilities of the device and to answer to questions you might have.

You can check out the first installment where the author shows off his “unboxing” experience and some exterior aspects of the device.

Few observations and thoughts:

• Major departure from HTC current “round edge” to more “angular” design might cannibalize the current production including the HTC Touch/Touch Dual. The side-to-side picture comparison really puts the HTC Touch Dual and the TyTN to yesteryear…
• The box does not look like the shape we saw previously in other pictures 
• Kudos to HTC for the small details in the incorporation of “Diamond” theme on the accessories (headsets, charger, etc). 
• The frontal flush navigation buttons are nice and the center round button with some rotary action is something I can’t wait to see.
