Diary Video Review of HTC Touch Diamond Continues…
Followed to the diary of the HTC Touch Diamond video review series from CoolSmartPhone, the episode#2 explores the GPS application VGA screen; the input responsiveness on the dialpad and the author touches on the controversial battery life. The coolest item in the video review is the new cool game that uses the tilt sensor of the Diamond to roll the small ball around the screen just by tilting the device…
A striking fact I observe in this episode is: Unlike other customization, there is no standard Windows Mobile interface seen throughout the application demo (except the title bar showing the Windows logo) . The whole interface looks like it rides on different OS.
When I listen to the prominent (but skeptical) podcasters referring to the interface this device as “Putting a nice dress on the Pig does not change the Pig”… What I can tell is this dress look darn good on that old pig. Watch the episode#2 HERE!
