jetAudio is a integrated multimedia software for your desktop PC. The software is made up of a single compact panel. Not only does it is a media player that plays music and video files in different format, it is also a feature-rich tool for CD burning, recording, converting to several popular file formats and ID3 tag editing and much more.
The playback function supports formats: WAV, MP3, MP3Pro, OGG, WMA, MPEG, AVI, WMV, MIDI, RM, and video and audio CD tracks.
The conversion and recording features work with analog audio to various formats tag editing for MP3, OGG, and WMA files; sound effects including wide, reverb, and x-bass; multichannel sound output; speed control of audio playback; cross-fading for a smooth transition between two songs.
You can broadcast your own music or audio podcast through Internet in MP3, OGG or WMA with the included jetCast feature. jetCast mixes music and microphone input, and send it to listener through Internet.
If you start your broadcasing, jetCast sends your station information to our directory server, so any one connected to internet can listen to your broadcasting!
If you want to broadcast only to specific listeners you want, use the Private Broadcast option to block unwanted listeners.
jetCast can interact with other broadcasting servers such as ShoutCast/IceCast, and supports multiple external servers (by using JCServer). So you can extend the bandwidth with multiple PCs.
For example, you can install JCServer to multiple external PCs (external PCs may exist in your home, your friend’s home, or IDC building), and broadcast from your desktop to these multiple servers.
By using port-forwarding feature, you are able to broadcast even if your PC is connected to internet through router.
The user interface is fully skinnable and synchronized lyrics display (karaoke) for MIDI and MP3 files.
