Phoenix Mars Lander 90 Days Ahead

Yesterday, followed to the stunning successful landing of the Phoenix Mars lander, its solar panels needed for energy supply for its 90 day mission were deployed successfully as well as the camera and weather station were in position to send the first images from Mars. 

But now, the 90-day main mission of the spacecraft has just begun to go against time to  determine whether ice below the surface ever thaws and whether some of the chemical ingredients needed for life are preserved in the soil.
