Use The Asus EeePC as an e-Book Reader

If you don’t want to spend several hundreds of your hard earned Dollars on a specific e-Book reader such the Amazon Kindle.

The Asus EeePC or any Subcompact Notebook can very well do the job with the onboard Acrobat Reader if your e-Book is in PDF format (highly recommended this book) or the capable FBReader  for other popular e-Book formats such CHM, MobiPocket, or even HTML.

Both readers allows to rotate the page in portrait mode in full screen for your convenience.
