Google Calendar Sync 0.9.3.3 Error Code 1011 Fix
Google recently rolled out with auto-updating everyone to Google Calendar Sync
0.9.3.3. If your version hasn’t already been updated, feel free to download from the link below:

Google Calendar Sync is a free tool to synchronize your Google Calendar account to your MS Outlook calendar. This version should fix the problem of folks seeing a “%d” error message as well as some cases of Microsoft Outlook crashing during sync. ![]()
After this update, I started receiving error message “Google Calendar Sync from Outlook – Error 1011”. Fortunately it is a known problem and can be fixed by going to Outlook – Help menu – select "Disabled Items" then re-enabled the Google sync.

I have no disabled items in Outlook 2007. I am still getting the error 1011 on version 0.9.3.3
I am having the same issue.
I try to enable the application in the trust center. I choose the COM updates, click the check mark next to Google Calendar sync and click ok… and it doesn’t change anything (checkmark remains unchecked when viewing the dialog box again).
Would love any assistance people can provide.
In the Trust Center, I highlighted the Google Sync, then uncheck “apply Macro settings…” then it worked. the Google sync remains unchecked when I reviewed. I am not sure what the repercussions will be leaving the macro setting off
That was very helpful, Bill. Before seeing your message, I found another solution in my searching. If people go to the macro settings and lower the over all security settings, it will run. But, of course, I like your option better, as the security risks would be just with Google Calendar and not any macro inside of Outlook.
It is so strange, since I didn’t make any changes on my system and Google Calendar sync just suddently stopped working. At least there are a couple of workable solutions at least until hopefully a more secure solution is available.
Thanks again.
What about the same error with Office 2003?
thank you!!! this worked great!!!
and yes Bill I to wonder what the repercussions would be… but at least you got it to work…
Thanks! This worked for me.
Worked like a charm!
Thank you Sir!
Go to Tools-Trust Centre – Add-Ins
Tick Apply Macro Security Settings………..
Double Click Google Calender Sync
Enable it….Now you can syncronize your calender with outlook.
Thanks for the tip. I re-enabled the sync and it started working again (Outlook 2007).
In Outlook 2003 there is no disabled items bar. How was can I fix Error Code 1011? Thanks
Finally fixed it. Thank you for the tip! I have no idea why this solution is not among the listed options on the google page. Anyway, it seems to work now again!
!!!!!FOR OUTLOOK 2003 USERS!!!!!
For the people using Outlook 2003 follow these steps to enable Google Calendar Sync (and stop receiving the error 1011).
The solution is basically the same as the 2007 Outlook but the “Disabled Items” is located in another place.
1. Help
2. About Microsoft Outlook
3. Disabled Items
4. Enable the GoogleCalendarSync.dll
FINALLY FIXED
In Outlook 2010 the “Disabled Items” seems to be moved to the Options dialog box:
