GPS on 3G iPhone Rumor
When Apple releases the next iPhone, one of the almost certain feature will be the real GPS built-in. It is understandable that Apple would take Google Map, which has been “off the chart popular” feature on the current iPhone, and improves upon with a real built-in GPS chip. The marriage could be used to boost other Location-Based Services made by Apple, Google or other third party apps .
According to GigaOm’s sources, the contract has been nailed down by Broadcom, a relatively new entrant into the GPS market. The Irvine, Calif.-based chip company (home of SolSie World HQ) had acquired Global Locate in July 2007 for $143 million in cash and $80 million in incentives. In the past such a deal would have gone to someone like SIRF. Imagine how cool it would be to have this thief-magnet mount on your dashboard.
While I am writing this, Kevin Rose from Digg just dropped a video stating the iPhone 3G will be released next week starting from $200. Both Kevin Rose and us have wrong prediction before. So take this with another grain of salt.

There will be NO INTERNAL GPS.
Wanna bet?
Any valid evidence to share, perhaps?
Most likely A-GPS not the real GPS
