PicLens 1.7 With Discover Feature
If there is an application that you want to show off your new computer to your friends, it would definitely be PicLens, a Firefox plug-in that can display Google/ Flickr/ DeviantArt/ Amazon/ YouTube in image and video search result with a wall of animated full-screen 3D experience.
Cooliris just launched the new PicLens v.1.7 with discover feature. The new feature allows to watch latest news, sports, movie trailers and more at your finger tips.
After you installed and activated the plug-in, click on the top right corner of your browser to launch PicLens.
The plug-in is compatible with Firefox up to the latest beta 3.

This is an amazing piece of software. I’ve used it since day one, but I miss it since I’ve recently made the switch to Ubuntu. I’m on the list to test the linux beta when it appears. I hope it won’t be a long wait.
yes, very good application i use with Firefox beta 3.
Thank you for posting about PicLens 1.7! We truly appreciate it.
PicLens 1.7 not only has the new Discover feature, but it also offers the “Return to PicLens” button (allows user to toggle in and out of the browser, desktop, and PicLens) and a virtual window shopping experience on Amazon.

Hi Rico,
Our ideal plan is to eventually make our Piclens Firefox work cross-platform. Linux support is something we want to add, but its timing is not yet clear due to our current resource constraints. Thanks for your understanding and hanging in there! We look forward to having you as a tester when the beta version comes out!
