The ailing retailing stores Sharper Image filed Chapter 11 for bankruptcy protection last February now has decided to close the remaining stores nationwide. The inventory was sold to a private group to developed a new licensing strategy for wholesale, retail, direct-to-retail, e-commerce, and catalog businesses under a new name. [Via News.com] |
