ThemesTool: Display .tsk Today Theme in Thumbnail

You might have several .tsk files for the Windows Mobile Today themes stored on your Windows desktop. This tool provides  a thumbnail to conveniently identify them.

This small hack allows Windows XP File Explorer to display a preview of your themes (.tsk files). Only the main image appears. This tool is not a file to execute but a DLL file.
To use this DLL file, you must copy it in your /Windows/System32 directory and register it (with regsvrv32) in a Command Prompt window. (e.g. regsrv32 c:\windows\system32\ThemesTool.dll)
Very useful for those who do not want to install Microsoft’s Theme Generator, or for those who have many TSK files and want to manage them easily. Click on image to enlarge. Read more HERE!

I just asked the author if he has a version for Vista.

THANKS,
WHERE?, HOW?

The command is :

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\ThemesTool.dll

The “v” and the “r” were switched in the original example. I verified this works for Vista also.
