MobileBeat, a conference focused primarily on Application for mobile platform, took place this week in Silicon Valley. The event was hosted by VentureBeat.
As anyone can predict, considering the timing of this event, the dominant subject of discussion was mainly around the Apple iPhone 2.0 platform and the way Apple is conducting business, whether the 30% earning is justified or any other rumored obscure practice that some developers might have to go above the 30% in order to get a better placement in the store. The selection criteria’s by Apple store was also a great topic of discussion wether they are heavily weighted on and conflict of interest with Apple business plan.
