image SMS text messaging has become so popular in particular with young cellphone users that inspire new easy way for wireless carriers making money. The price hike practice while is disturbing, it is understandable in a free market where supply and demand govern the price.

Wired’s How-To Wiki points out that the AOL Instant Messenger app on the iPhone can send SMS by entering a full phone number (with a +1 for U.S. or another country code first) to your buddy list, you can send out standard text messages from an iPhone or iPod touch.
