The subnotebook EeePC alike can be very versatile. Why not use them as a GPS unit with this small USB dongle.

This small dongle should work with location base app from Windows Live or Google, but for turn-by-turn navigation you will need a mapping software that can be purchased separately.

GR-300 is a high performance, low power GPS receiver. The built-in SiRF III chipset offers fast acquisition and excellent tracking performance. The compact size and built-in USB connector makes it an ideal travel companion with notebook PC and UMPC.
