Ready For a New Search Engine: Hello Cuil!

Cuil (originally Cuill) pronounced “Cool” is a new search engine that will tackle the 900 pound gorilla Google for the search engine supremacy. Later this evening Cuil will debut with 120 billions Web pages have already been indexed for your search pleasure.

I still have hard time getting used to the name, (especially when you speak French…) .

This endeavor claims to be much efficient and requires much less computing infrastructure needs to index the world the way Google has been doing.   The new search engine will of course put to use the semantic approach in its algorithm but slightly different than Microsoft’s Powerset. What exactly determines your website placement on this search engine? I can usually be very specific on Google/Yahoo
