Both The Wall Street Journal and TheStreet.com are speculating as rumors fly that Verizon Wireless and AT&T executives say they are seeing fewer numbers ported from the struggling Sprint to their own networks.

Either the defection rate has reached plateau or Sprint might have done something that helps the turn around. The most significant change, I think is the introduction of the Samsung Instinct and its marketing campaign.

While it is not the top device in feature, function and the UI, the Samsung Instinct his is the first fun device that the CDMA wireless operator brings to its stable. And this will continue with rumors of some hottest upcoming devices such the HTC Touch Diamond, Pro, Palm Treo 800w, etc..
