Samsung’s New UMPCs

Samsung announced today 2 variants of their Vista powered UMPC.

The Q1U-CMXP features an integrated HSDPA 3G cellular modem. The second one is  the Q1UP-V features 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Ethernet and a WWAN modem that connects to the AT&T Broadband Connect network;. Prices are  $1,499 and $1,449 respectively.

I still think these devices would have hard time to sell against the new wave of compact subnotebooks. But for business users who might need Vista and better portability, this might be the right choice.
