Skin Your Gmail and Google Calendar Apps on Firefox

imageThe most popular free Google Web services are Gmail and Calendar. On my Firefox browser, they permanently occupy 2 tabs to keep me straight through my working day.

While the interface emphasizes on simplicity and efficiency like most Google apps, they are getting a little bit boring to my taste.
In a previous post, we shared with you how to skin Gmail by simply using the Better Gmail 2 Firefox extension. (Since then the extension was updated to v.0.5.1 to fix the problem that Redesigned skin went white).

image You can download the new extension HERE; Once installed, visit the extension’s Preferences dialog (from the Tools menu) and select or deselect the appropriate checkboxes and select the Redisigned Skin. Refresh Gmail to see the changes.

Next step, you can apply the same Redesigned skin to your Google Calendar with the following steps:

1-Install the Greasemonkey extenstion
2-Restart your Firefox
3-Go HERE, scroll down to Install Options, click on the button “Load as User Script”
4-Restart your Firefox
