Sprint Lowered “phone-as-a-modem service” to $15/mo

Sprint has lowered the cost of its phone-as-a-modem service from $50 per month to $15 per month. The cost cut requires that the user have an EVDO-equipped phone that can be connected to a PC via cable or Bluetooth, and the user must also subscribe to one of Sprint’s other data plans, such as the $30 Pro Pack. The change went into effect in June.
