This fall, Sprint is expected to launch the 4G WiMAX network (XOHM) in Baltimore, then subsequently Chicago and Washington, D.C.

Sprint is working on selecting its partners to take advantage  of the location based  “geobrowsing” for weather, restaurant reviews, etc…Of course the revenue sharing is also in the work amongst the partners.

“GPS in the XOHM system continually updates the user’s position and feeds it to back-end applications. This feature is added by California-based Open Wave. Using uLocate as the foundation for the service, Sprint has tested and implemented a number of applications before rollout. “
