Amazon Video on Demand
Amazon Unbox evolves to new Amazon Video On Demand. Amazon has just started to give customers the option to purchase by streaming or rent from its 40,000 titles.
Contrast to Unbox, which was a client player that works only with Windows, Amazon VOD allows customers to stream videos to a PC or Mac and watch them inside a browser.
In addition to instantly watch TV shows and movies, users can still download to play on Unbox player and TiVo.
When a customer chooses a movie for rental or purchase, Amazon defaults to the streaming option, but a note at the bottom of the video feed prompts, “Prefer to watch offline? Downloading to your TiVo DVR or Windows PC is still available.” It then gives directions for downloading to the Unbox player.
There are many free contents, especially TV shows for you to explore as well.
