AT&T Home Manager : French Minitel-like Device

AT&T wants to cover all your IP, Video, Phone needs for your home. The latest offering is the AT&T Home Manager. A small device with a touchscreen display that connects to your residential router to provide useful pertinent information. The unit is ideal for kitchen countertop or your bedside table. I found this device has similar function as the French Minitel, which was released in 1982.

You can obtain information such:

• An address book with wireless sync
• Call logs
• Visual voice mail
• Directory information from Yellowpages.com
• Calendar access
• Widgets for news, movies, recipes, sports scores, stock quotes, horoscopes and lottery numbers
• Photos
• Email functionality with POP3 services
