When the iconic Asus EeePC was the only game in town, it was easy to choose but since then, due to its popularity, all the vendors have jumped on the bandwagon, which makes the selection a bit harder than one might think.
The site TechReport has put together a comprehensive comparison list of the most popular on the market and at the end they picked the Editor’s choice unit(s) along with the reasons.
While all of them come with WiFi, Bluetooth for networking connectivity, One of the thing they did not mention is the Dell Mini 9 now can host a SIM card for 3G connectivity. Some European carriers/operators are offering with subsidized price. But of course the other Windows/XP Netbooks can also use the USB broadband card the same way most people use to stay connected with their Laptop today.
