Look on your desktop, if you have more then 10 icons, experts say your productivity  is greatly diminished.. We show you below a simple trick that normally does not take up much of your time. Just pick a wallpaper with some “compartments” and drag your icons in. (don’t forget to uncheck, the option Auto arrange, Align to grid  Icons from your desktop first).

If “procrastination” is your middle name and you don’t want to file them yet, at least sort them out by type,  create few folder by category (right mouse click on your desktop-> New -> Folder; give it a name); move your icons in the newly created folders.

You can use a desktop wallpaper like this one below to group your icons. You can download this wallpaper in several sizes HERE!

for more frivolous mind, you can use this desktop wallpaper. The “dock” in the middle of the screen is conveniently designed to host all your various icons artistically.

If you run Vista, place your mouse over the icon, hold the CTRL key and use your mouse scroll wheel to resize the icons to your liking.

This idea is good. But there is a program called Fences from Stardock that doe s this with more ease and it is customizable.
