image Qik, an online broadcasting, live video streaming service, initially only available on the Nokia N95, now has released the Windows Mobile clients which work on a variety of new phones. They include:

  • HTC Touch Dual
  • HTC Touch Diamond
  • HTC TyTn-II
  • AT&T Tilt
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia X1

This is in addition to Qik on the Samsung SPH-i325(ACE), which we announced last week. Version 3.16 of Qik for the iPhone went live last week, too, with location support and the best video quality for iPhone on the market. We’re very much focused on both releasing Qik clients for as many handsets as we can, and iterating existing clients to bring the best possible experience to all our users.

Just to be clear: Qik first appeared on Windows Mobile devices like the Samsung BlackJack II and Motorola Q several months ago, and our client for the iPhone made its first appearance back in June. I’m excited that we’re launching on these HTC devices, and even more enthusiastic about what’s on the horizon!
