The Cost of Android Powered HTC Dream G1?

TechCrunch reports by the end of October, when T-Mobile releases the HTC Dream, the first Google’s Android powered phone, user will pay $200 with 2-yr contract.

As you know, smartphone requires data plan + SMS on top of voice plan. Since the T-Mobile 3G network is very behind compared to other carriers, we should expect the data plan to be very competitive on this device.

T-Mobile and Google are working feverishly to make sure user first experience will be nothing less than complete satisfaction. "We’re in the final stages and having lots of sleepless nights..….We’re very happy with the results," said Andy Rubin, Google’s director of mobile platforms.
