VuClip Formats & Delivers Internet Video to Mobile Devices
A new free online service Vuclip (http://vuclip.com/?mobile) allows mobile user to search and to stream video from popular sites.
The service indexes videos from different Web sites. When you execute a search, it lists results from these sites. When you watch a video, it streams directly from the host site to your phone, through their servers, which do the hard work of formatting the stream on-the-fly to work on your phone and your network. All you need to do is search, watch and enjoy the videos.
VuClip offers regular resolution and hi-resolution if your player can play in full screen.
The front page displays featured video as well as popular categories such Music video, Best Dance video, News etc…If you want to search from a specific site, In the search bar, enter the search term followed by s:sitename.
(For example, comedy s:metacafe)
For my test on a Windows Mobile device yields nice speedy and smooth playback by Windows Media Player.
