HP iPaq Oak Slated for European Release

As we mentioned yesterday that HP is trying to get back in the game. One of the devices was mentioned almost a year, nevertheless it might already have the form factor similar to some latest devices namely the Sony Xperia X1 and the HTC Touch Pro. 

The unit opts a touchscreen candybar form factor with side sliding keyboard. Features include:

• HSDPA  7.2/ Quat-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
• Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro/ QVGA
• Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS
• 1010 mAh Battery Talk time 3.5hrs
• Frontal keypad can be used as “Directional pad”, imagine an invisible iPod wheel sits on top of the keypad.

The HP Oak will be released by the end of this year in Europe.
