HTC Touch HD Real Life Hi-Res Photos & Video
HTC Touch HD is no longer a secret. You can find specs and photo gallery on HTC site. This top of the line Windows Mobile sporting a pixel-packed 3.8” WVGA screen; 3.5G HSDAP 7.2 Mbps of downlink, GPS, 5 MP camera, etc…
- “Hyper-Impressive”
- Unlike the other devices, TouchFLO 3D is very snappy, Navigation is very smooth
- Compared to the iPhone, the Touch HD screen still requires a light pressure
- Beautiful WVGA screen
- Accelerometer very responsive
- The camera really puts the iPhone camera to shame
- 5MP but no flash
- Camera focus adjusting by finger touch
- Opera renders Web pages better than iPhone Safari (The presenter shows a page with overlapping pictures on Safari but perfectly formatted on Opera
- No Multi-touch on the Touch HD, zooming on Opera requires double tap
- YouTube take much longer time to launch on the HD compared to the YouTube app on iPhone. But once the video plays, the HD has better display with larger and better screen resolution. YouTube Video plays very smoothly on the HD
- The presenters rave about TouchFLO3D that save the day on this device. They said if it was bare Windows Mobile , this device would be “nobody” Do you this Microsoft?
- All the devices running WM are screaming and begging MS for better OS (this one is from me! ) – The hardware is way beyond what this aging OS can deliver.
Earlier today Geek Inc site posted some real life photo of this device comparing to the iPhone. Since then the site is not accessible for unknown reason. But fortunately our friend at MobileTechAddicts could save them.

An impressive device. But why can’t HTC include 16gb of built-in RAM?
Jeffrey, If you referred to the iPhone, the 16GB are Flash memory not RAM. The HTC has microSD, which can go up to 32GB.

I could see the HTC Touch HD worked The screen is very beautifull and the device run better than HTC Touch Diamond. The 5M camera with autofocus made beautiful photo than Iphone. I think i will wait about real test with a final device to buy it. Price is 649€ release date: November-December
