Motorola VC6096 Windows Mobile Telematic
We are happy to the trend having Windows Mobile device morphing to car telematic instead of using Windows CE Embedded device. This morning we shared the cooperation of Sony and Saab. Now, it is Motorola’s turn to introduce the VC6096 in-vehicle Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device.
The VC6096 all-in-one in-cab solution is designed to help transportation and logistics providers achieve cost-effective compliance, maximize driver productivity, improve safety and vehicle utilization, reduce costs and improve customer service.
The device was designed with fleet car usage in mind. It sport a 6.5" VGA screen and large QWERTY keyboard and can sustain wide range of operating temperature. 3.5G GSM,
HSDPA WWAN, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g. Unfortunately no WiMax support.
