Test Drive Mobile Firefox Available

Mozilla just release the Alpha 1 version of its mobile browser codenamed Fennec. This is an early developer release of the mobile version of Firefox, for testing purposes only.

Fennec includes touch-screen support, includes a password manager and pop-up blocker, offers a Firefox-style tab-browsing interface, and provides the same address bar functionality as its big brother

This first alpha release is available for the OS2008 ("Maemo") software platforms that runs on the Nokia N810 Internet Tablets. If you’re viewing this on an N810, install Fennec. But you can test drive Fennec for your desktop PC:

• Windows
• Mac OS X
• Linux

A version for Windows Mobile (screenshots HERE) is in the work but not yet released.
