CNBC speculates Microsoft is Prep’ing a Zune Phone code named “Pink”

We posted the rumor that Microsoft is working on its “mPhone”. Today CNBC further speculates from “a good source” that Microsoft could be working on the new Zune facelift that will combine the company’s Zune and technology from Microsoft’s purchase of Danger Inc., the company that brought us the Sidekick flip phone available on T-Mobile.

Furthermore, CNBC is hearing that a prototype of the new Pink could be unveiled as soon as the Consumer Electronics Show in January, but that it could be pushed back into a February release.
