CNN’s “Holography”

Last Tuesday, during the election night, CNN showcased its “hologram” technology to simulate the presence of a person located at another remote location to their studio. The presenter can be filmed at different angles randomly but the technology will adjust the “Hologram” object to make the angle looks perfectly in sync.

Granted this is just a bunch of cameras and computer tricks to perfectly angle the image, but nevertheless  it is promising for future 3-d image rendering.
