Google Adds Voice to iPhone Mobile Search
Later today Google will release the mobile search application V2 for iPhone. The Search app lets user perform search independently from Safari browser but Google understands many of iPhone users might not appreciate the softkeyboard so they add the search-by-voice
The app is smart enough to distinguish the method of search entry by using the iPhone accelerometer. Its know when you put the phone next to your face for voice recognition versus keyboard entry.
Since Google app can also search for your contacts, you can use the feature to lookup your contact by voice. (but the dial, requires manual clicking).
iPhone users will find the voice-capable Google Mobile Search in the app store. Support for Android and Blackberry will come in the coming months.
