Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer Says “No” to new Yahoo Bid

Steve Ballmer gave a speech at the Committee for Economic Development of Australia lunch in Sydney today, Ballmer said: "Look, we made an offer, we made another offer. It was clear that Yahoo didn’t want to sell the business to us, and we moved on." .

This is a clear answer of some speculation related to Yahoo attempt to go back to the negotiation table with Microsoft after Google’s decision to walk away an advertising partnership with Yahoo.

On the mobile side, Ballmer’s whirlwind visit to Sydney this week has spurred a number of small controversies after the Microsoft executive dismissed Google’s Android mobile phone operating system as "financially unsound". He also confirms recently WM 6.5 for next year and WM 7 for 2010.
