image Imeem the popular music streaming on the Web, recently has chosen Android as its preferred platform, (actually, Imeem selects T-Mobile based on the demography of  its audience).

Similarly to Pandora on the Web side, user can select the artist of choice and can start streaming the music online. User will be offered to purchase the tune from Amazon if needed.

User can listen to sampling of the most recent popular tracks or the site can sample the tracks based on user’s music taste.

The app on Android offers pretty much the same capability as the desktop side and squarely competes with Pandora on the iPhone side.

The mobile app player is location-aware as the company refers the feature as  “popular music in the user’s city.” and for the sound of the season, user now can access to the Holiday music collection channel on your mobile as well. [Via Mashable]
