Verizon’s Storm ready to strike on Nov 21st
After several delays, Verizon sent out an email to confirm the Blackberry will be ready for its premiere on November 21 and will be there for your Black Friday shopping list. The device will be priced at $200 with contract.
The Storm is the first Blackberry that features a full screen touchscreen without the traditional frontal keyboard. The Storm offers an innovative feature, the exclusive ClickThrough, which creates the sensation of tactile button when you push on the touch screen. That is the result of R.I.M implementation of a suspension system that lies beneath the display.
Others features including: dual-mode CDMA (EV-DO Rev. A ) & GSM (Europe’s 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA band) for World traveler (the phone does not support domestic GSM bands)
The BlackBerry Storm will run the latest BlackBerry OS (version 4.7) for the touch screen support, 128MB of flash memory and 1GB of onboard memory, plus microSD/SDHC expansion slot.
