Asus P552W, a speedy Smartphone

image Our friends at GadgetMix just published a review of the new lo-cost Windows Mobile Smartphone made by ASUS, the P552W.

The “HTC original Touch-like” diminutive smartphone comes with decent hardware specs Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, 128MiB RAM, 256MiB ROM, 2.8" 240×320 QVGA color transflective TFT display, 2.5mm audio jack (yerk!) , GSM900/GSM1800/GSM1900/UMTS2100, CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, microSD/microSDHC/TransFlash/SDIO, mini-USB port, Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS, 1.9MP camera, 1100mAh removable battery, SiRF III GPS, etc..

The unit comes nicely with an overlay UI called Glide with 3 different looks: Business, Life and Original.

But the CPU 32bit Marvell PXA930, 624MHz CPU is the strongest point of this little gem, which really puts the HTC Diamond to shame in all benchmarks.

interesting this new CPU. It’s pity my Diamond doesn’t have the same :p.
So i’m asking himself about the CPU with 800 MHz..
