CorePlayer V1.3.0 with YouTube HD Support Available
CoreCodec team has just released v1.3.0 of the CorePlayer Platform (build 6213). Two major points you will find in this new release::
- The performance of YouTube HD in CorePlayer Pro v1.3.0 when compared side-by-side to either the Adobe Media Player or Flash embedded into any web browser, is a least 2x more efficient when playing YouTube HD in 720p. We attribute this to CorePlayer’s low level of coding and our H.264 decoder CoreAVC.
- The speed of CorePlayer Pro in OS X is faster in ‘software alone’ in playing back H.264 content then when Quicktime utilizes the NVIDIA hardware in the new unibody MacBook Pros.
Whats the new in 1.3.0?
- YouTube HD support
- Double the YouTube supported streaming formats
- Improved QTv support (Blue/Green screen bug)

- Initial ‘Channel’s’ separation (only YouTube to the public atm)
- Enhanced DivX/XviD support
