HP MediaSmart Home Servers

While ago, HP released the first Windows Home Server to consolidate your data scattered throughout the house PC and also provides remote access to them.

HP recently just added two new home server products for the home, called "MediaSmart" . The new version improves the main services such shared networked (LAN + Web) storage and adds backup (MAC) as well as media streaming from iTunes library.

The interesting point is even though, the servers are still using Microsoft OS, HP offers iTunes streaming and Time Machine compatibility  (TM is for Mac OS X). 

The  two models are the 750 GB ex485 for $599 and the 1 terabyte ex487 for $749. Both will be available on Jan. 5.  [Source HP]
