Skyfire and Opera

Skyfire, a browser for Windows Mobile just went public Beta. Skyfire offers Flash support for YouTube, Hulu video viewing on Windows Mobile. While the Web page formatting is not as good as Opera Mobile 9.5 when zooming, the Flash support and especially the rendering speed (reportedly 3 time faster) make it very attractive.

It is important to point out that Skyfire uses its server to render the Web pages first before downloading to your mobile device as opposed to other browsers, which use your device computing resources for the task.

The faster rendering speed, however has some drawbacks such longer time to start (due to server connection), lack of widescreen  and accelerometer support, etc.

I love Skyfire and during the elections in the US I was watching the debates live by surfing to Yahoo! and watching the flash video content.
